Overview
SkyView Cinematic Visual is a drone cinematography studio that serves six industries, from real estate to agriculture. When I started this project, they had no website at all. Every client came through Instagram DMs and word-of-mouth, which worked but wasn’t scalable.
I built a 13-page marketing site that does what their Instagram couldn’t: organize their work into structured case studies, present transparent pricing across six service categories, showcase their equipment capabilities, and capture qualified leads through a validated contact form. The entire site is animation-rich and content-driven, with all data structured for easy future updates.
Challenge
When a business has no website, it’s not just missing a URL. It’s missing credibility. That was the core problem here:
- The company relied entirely on Instagram and word-of-mouth for client acquisition. Potential clients had no way to see organized case studies, compare pricing, or understand equipment capabilities before reaching out
- Every inquiry came through WhatsApp without context. There was no way to capture and qualify leads online, so the team spent time answering the same basic questions repeatedly
- Competitors with polished websites appeared more credible, even when they had less experience and lower-quality work
Solution
Content Architecture
I structured the site around the information potential clients actually need before they reach out. That meant more than a homepage and contact page.
- 6 service pages with detailed process steps, pricing ranges, deliverables, and per-service FAQs
- 5 portfolio case studies with challenge/solution narratives, client testimonials, and measurable result metrics
- Equipment showcase displaying 5 drones with full specs and ideal-use recommendations, so clients know exactly what gear flies on their shoot
Interactive Portfolio
The portfolio needed to feel as dynamic as the footage itself.
- Category filtering across 6 industries (real estate, events, corporate, tourism, construction, agriculture)
- Animated grid transitions with featured project highlighting
- Individual project pages with image galleries, client quotes, and measurable outcomes
Lead Capture
The contact form replaces unstructured WhatsApp messages with qualified, contextualized leads.
- Zod schema validation on both client and server side
- React 19 Server Action with useActionState for form handling
- Service pre-selection dropdown that qualifies incoming leads before they reach the inbox
Results
- Online presence → 13-page professional website with SEO, replacing Instagram-only visibility
- Service information → 6 detailed service pages with pricing, process, and FAQs. No more explaining everything per-chat
- Portfolio access → Filterable gallery with structured case studies, replacing scattered social media posts
- Lead qualification → Validated contact form with service pre-selection, replacing unstructured WhatsApp messages
